Obsidian Entertainment is looking to cap off its hat trick this year when The Outer Worlds 2 launches on October 29, 2025. It’s the third title from the developer this year, following Avowed in February and the Early Access launch of Grounded 2, which we really enjoyed. Xbox Design Lab is celebrating the upcoming sequel with The Outer Worlds 2 Xbox Wireless Controller and Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2. The designs feature the iconic Moon Man and the colorful galactic rifts that threaten to destroy all of humanity.

The standard Outer Worlds 2 Xbox Wireless Controller starts at $94.98, while the Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 option starts at $184.98. Customization options include metallic triggers and D-pads, rubberized side and back grips, thumbstick toppers, and paddles. It’s just the latest custom controller offering from Xbox, which is one thing it does leagues better than PlayStation. That said, PlayStation recently announced a DualSense Icon Blue Special Edition that looks pretty nice.
