The Duskbloods resurfaced with a short new trailer at the latest Nintendo Direct, where FromSoftware confirmed the Switch 2 exclusive will get a closed network test this summer. It marks the first new look at the game since FromSoftware first revealed it during the Nintendo Switch 2 debut showcase in April 2025.

The Duskbloods casts players as the Bloodsworn in a multiplayer action game where you fight both against and alongside up to seven other players. You wield unique weapons and blood-based powers that transform your character and combat style, all while trying to secure the coveted First Blood. It launches exclusively on Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026, though FromSoftware still has not locked in a release date.

The closed network test is set for summer 2026 and will let players try a small slice of the game’s Dusk Battles. FromSoftware has not shared a date or how to sign up yet, pointing players to The Duskbloods’ official X account for details down the line.
