Tales of Xillia 2 Release Date Set for August 19

The Tales of Xillia 2 release date has been set for August 19 in North America and August 22 in Europe. The game will be exclusive to the PlayStation 3 and Bandai Namco also unveiled the Ludger Kresnik Collector’s Edition priced at $129.99. Included in the Tales of Xillia 2 Collector’s Edition is a Ludger figurine, a replica of Elle’s pocket watch, a Rollo plush charm, a CD with music from the game and an artbook. Collector’s Edition buyers will also get access to the downloadable costumes from Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World’s Emil Castagnier, Tales of Graces’ Asbel Lhant and Tales of Vesperia’s Yuri Lowell.

Tales of Xillia 2 takes place a year after the first game and features new protagonists Ludger Kresnik and Elle Marta. Those that played through the first game will be able to use their save files to receive bonus items in Tales of Xillia 2.
