We still don’t have an announcement for an all-new Tales game, but now that Tales of Xillia Remastered shipped on October 31, Bandai Namco has revealed that Tales of Berseria Remastered is next on the list. While this might come as a surprise, since it would make a lot more sense for Tales of Xillia 2 Remastered to be next, Tales of Berseria is one of the more beloved entries in the franchise. Some might argue that the game still plays well enough that it doesn’t need a remaster, but it is nearly 10 years old now, and the Tales franchise has gained a lot of new fans with Tales of Arise.
Tales of Berseria Remastered is the third title in the Tales of Remastered Project, and it launches on February 27, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC. The fan-favorite entry stars Velvet Crowe, whose life is shattered by betrayal. Players join Crowe and her allies on a journey as she seeks vengeance for her brother’s murder. The story takes place in a world torn between emotion and reason, filled with emotional bonds and betrayal.
Like other Tales of Remastered projects, Tales of Berseria Remastered will feature new quality-of-life updates, including destination icons, encounter toggling, and early grade shop access. It will also include all DLC from the original release, such as character costumes, bonus items, and other extras.
