Sony has announced a State of Play for Wednesday, September 24, at 2:00 PM Pacific (5:00 PM Eastern) that will run approximately 35 minutes. The only title officially confirmed for the State of Play is an extended look at Saros from Housemarque, with nearly five minutes of gameplay. Other than that, we can expect trailers for third-party and indie titles, and updates from teams at PlayStation Studios, with an emphasis on teams. Will Wolverine from Insomniac Games finally make an appearance? There are also rumors that a 2D God of War title will make an appearance.

Originally announced in February 2025 to close off that State of Play, Saros is set to launch sometime next year and takes place on the lost off-world colony of Carcosa. Players take control of Arjun Devrag (Rahul Kohli), a powerful Soltari Enforcer who is searching for someone. Tomorrow’s State of Play will be the first time we see gameplay, which should build on the successful systems from Returnal.
