Xbox has announced a surprise addition to the Game Pass library, with Spyro Reignited Trilogy available to subscribers on November 12. The trilogy includes all three original games—Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage, and Spyro: Year of the Dragon—all remade from the ground up. This means Game Pass subscribers can experience Spyro’s adventures, starting with his quest to rescue his dragon friends from Gnasty Gnorc. The second game in the trilogy takes Spyro to the magical land of Avalar, where he must save the realm from the evil sorcerer Ripto. The trilogy concludes with Spyro’s journey to save the dragon population from the devious Sorceress, who has stolen the Dragon Eggs.

Originally released in 2018 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC, Spyro Reignited Trilogy currently has a Very Positive rating on Steam with 11,837 user reviews. The trilogy joins other Game Pass November 2024 titles, including Metal Slug Tactics, Harold Halibut, and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
