Indie developer Freehold Games has announced its latest project, Sproggiwood, is now live on Steam Greenlight. The story-driven, turn-based roguelike is set in a world of mischief and wonder, featuring a unique artstyle that’s surely a treat for your eyes. In the game, players will start off as a simple farmer from the peaceful island of Clog before they’re lured into a mysterious portal by a talking sheep. From there, they become the prisoner of Sproggi, a mischievous forest spirit that needs help civilizing his realm.

Throughout Sproggiwood, players will plunder procedural dungeons, explore six unique classes (farmer, warrior, archer, thief, wizard and vampire) and grow their civilization. Along with a wondrous setting inspired by Finnish mythology, Sproggiwood features tactical combat along with a designable town mode packed with buildings, decorations and monsters.

Sproggiwood is scheduled for release this fall on PC, Mac and Linux – you can help get it greenlit on Steam here.
