The Mortal Kombat 1 trailers continue to deliver hit after hit, and the latest one might be the best one yet. Unveiled during Gamescom’s Opening Night Live, the Official Rulers of Outworld trailer confirms characters Sindel and General Shao as joining the roster, while Motaro and Shujinko were shown as new Kameo fighters. The trailer also gives us a better look at Liu Kang’s chosen champion, Raiden.
Mortal Kombat 1 is less than a month away from its September 19 release date, when it will launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Switch. In the reboot of this storied fighting franchise, Fire God Liu Kang has created a reborn Mortal Kombat Universe and while there are familiar characters, their roles have changed significantly. Expect to learn even more in the coming weeks leading up to the game’s release, along with more character and Kameo announcements.
