Sony Interactive Entertainment has put a date and a price on the Pulse Elevate wireless speakers, which launch November 12 at $219.99, £199.99, and €219.99. First revealed during a State of Play earlier this year, Pulse Elevate marks the first wireless speakers developed by Sony’s gaming division, joining the Pulse Elite headset and Pulse Explore earbuds in the PlayStation audio lineup.

Preorders open September 1 at 7:00 AM Pacific (10:00 AM Eastern) in the U.S., and at 10:00 AM local time in other regions. The Midnight Black version will be available globally through direct.playstation.com and participating retailers, while White is exclusive to the U.S., U.K., France, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Italy, Spain, and Portugal through Sony’s online store, with select retailers carrying it in other regions.

As for the speakers themselves, each one features studio-inspired planar magnetic drivers, the same technology Sony introduced with the Pulse Elite headset and Pulse Explore earbuds, plus built-in woofers for bass. On PlayStation 5, the drivers work with games that support Tempest 3D AudioTech to position audio cues more accurately. The mic lives in the right speaker. It uses AI-enhanced noise rejection to strip out background noise, giving desktop players a headset-free option for voice chat.

Connectivity runs through PlayStation Link, Sony’s ultra-low latency and lossless wireless tech, with a USB-C adapter included in the box. The speakers work with PlayStation 5, PC, Mac, and the PlayStation Portal, and Bluetooth is supported simultaneously, so you can pair a PlayStation Link device for game audio alongside a phone for music or voice chat. A built-in rechargeable battery and included charging docks cover portable use with a Portal or smartphone, and players can adjust EQ, sidetone, volume, and mic mute through system menus on PlayStation 5, with PC options coming after launch. If you have your eye on the White pair, though, it’s probably not the one to wait on, since Sony says it’s only available while supplies last.
