Early tomorrow morning will be the Pokemon Direct, where Nintendo will spill the details on the upcoming Pokemon X and Pokemon Y titles heading to the Nintendo 2DS and 3DS handheld consoles.
The Pokemon Direct is essentially a Pokemon-themed Nintendo Direct, similar to The Wonderful 101 Direct that occurred earlier this year. Pokemon X and Pokemon Y will be released worldwide on October 12, 2013. And in case you don’t have a Nintendo 3DS yet, the cheaper alternative, the 2DS, will be available on the same date. The 2DS was announced last week for $129.99.
Earlier, Nintendo revealed that Pokemon X and Pokemon Y will feature Mega Pokemons and is the first in the handheld main series of games to be completely rendered in polygonal 3D graphics.
