Ubisoft promised a major Far Cry 4 announcement earlier today at its press conference and Sony just dropped the surprise at its E3 2014 press conference. The company has announced that owners of Far Cry 4 on the PlayStation 3 or the PlayStation 4 will be able to invite their PlayStation friends to join them in Far Cry 4 even if they don’t own the game. That’s right, PlayStation gamers will be able to enjoy Far Cry 4 without even buying it, so long as one of their friends own it. Of course this only applies to what the game has to offer in multiplayer, which appears to be quite in depth.
The feature is exclusive to the Sony PlayStation consoles.
