We’ve said it numerous times before, but the one thing Xbox still excels at is the range of custom controllers it offers. Just in the last few months, we’ve seen the Fallout Pip-Boy controller and the limited edition SpongeBob Movie controller. Sony has been taking it more seriously, though, recently releasing the Icon Blue Special Edition DualSense and creating one in collaboration with Genshin Impact. Now, to start off 2026, Sony has unveiled the Hyperpop Collection, featuring three designs for DualSense wireless controllers and PlayStation 5 console covers.

The collection centers around glossy blacks shifting into vivid neons in Techno Red, Remix Green, and Rhythm Blue. Not surprisingly, the theme is inspired by the popular trend of RGB, but mixes it up with the seamless gradient effect. For the DualSense, it’s finished in a high-gloss coat, while the console covers get a subtle hint of transparency.

The Hyperpop DualSense wireless controllers will have a retail price of $84.99 (¥12,480 including tax / €84.99 / £74.99), while the matching PlayStation 5 console covers will be available in limited quantities for $74.99 (¥11,480 including tax / €74.99 / £64.99). If you’re interested, they go on sale March 12, 2026, but preorders will begin on January 16, 2026, at 7:00 AM Pacific (10:00 AM Eastern) in the U.S. and 10:00 AM local time in the U.K., France, Germany, Austria, Spain, Portugal, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg through direct.playstation.com and participating retailers.
