This year, the PlayStation brand is celebrating its 30th anniversary with all sorts of festivities, and it’s now focusing on the PlayStation 5’s five-year anniversary. Sony is rolling out a new ad campaign titled “It Happens on PS5,” inspired by players’ reactions of awe, excitement, and surprise while playing on PS5. It all kicks off today with three distinct stories: The Greatest Stunt Jump Ever, The Unexpected Catch, and Everyday Problems in Extraordinary Vehicles.

Along with the ad spot, Sony is bringing some of those moments into the real world with physical activations. For the remainder of this year, you may come across some of these activations in various locations around the world. Sony teased UFOs landing in Australia, Spain, and Germany, along with mysterious creatures surfacing in Mexico, Italy, and the U.K. The campaign’s goal is to share the joy and excitement the community feels from those unforgettable moments while gaming on PlayStation 5.
