Plants vs. Zombies 2 will finally be launching worldwide on Apple iOS devices on August 15, 2013. The game, which was originally scheduled to launch on July 18, experienced delays in order to tweak its in-app purchasing prices. On July 9, 2013, PopCap did a “soft release” in Australia and New Zealand with feedback from that initial release causing a delay for the worldwide release. So far the title has been heavily scrutinized for going free-to-play with in-app purchases, but it will be interesting to see what PopCap has changed for its worldwide release.
