Plants vs. Zombies 2 arrived Apple iOS devices on August 15, 2013 and it has already been downloaded nearly 25 million times according to PopCap Games. That means that downloads for the Plants vs. Zombies sequel has already surpassed total lifetime downloads for the original game.
The developer released an infographic detailing some of the data it’s gathered since the game’s release which includes that 39-billion suns have been generated from players, over 5.4-billion zombie waves have invaded, and over 10-billion plants have been planted.
What’s most impressive? Over 81-million hours have been played collectively across all the players, which PopCap Games confirms is the same amount of time it takes to shuck 18-billion ears of corn.
