Frontier Developments first revealed Planet Coaster 2 back in 2024, and today the studio announced what it’s calling the largest content pack for the game so far. Planet Coaster 2: Parades arrives June 25, 2026 on PlayStation 5, XBOX Series X|S, and PC for $18.99/£14.99/€18.99, and the headline feature is right there in the name.
For the first time, players can build and run their own parades through their parks, setting both the route the procession follows and how often it appears. Floats can be assembled from blueprints or built from scratch using more than 250 dedicated float scenery pieces, with Frontier citing examples that range from a Viking longship to a unicorn-themed convoy. Entertainers and parade attendants can ride on the floats, walk alongside them, or lead the procession.
Parades comes with five new rides: two rollercoasters, two flat rides, and one transport ride. The HPC Buzzard is a single-rail coaster built around tight turns and inversions in a compact footprint, and the V&N Narrow Drop is a compact drop coaster. The FD Vision Electric Trolley handles guest transport, while the two flat rides are the JUMPIN’ DISC, a spinning ride that bounces in multiple directions, and the LITTLE DIPPER, a small drop tower aimed at kids.
On the scenery side, Parades adds a theme inspired by classic amusement park plazas and vintage Small Town Americana, with more than 250 new pieces for building town squares, streets, and corner cafés that are designed to work with the existing themes rather than as a standalone set. The pack also adds 19 new firework emitters, six themed music tracks, and 10 ambient speaker sounds, with options like A Busy Bakery, Barbershop, Cosy Room, and Classic Car Engine. Counting the float pieces, that’s more than 500 new scenery items in all.
Planet Coaster 2 is required to play the pack, and the base game is available on PlayStation 5, XBOX Series X|S, and PC for $49.99/£39.99/€49.99.
