Atlus brought two Persona reveals to the XBOX Games Showcase, announcing Persona 6 with a world premiere teaser and giving Persona 4 Revival a release date of February 18, 2027. The Persona 6 teaser was a brief first look at the next mainline entry, while the Persona 4 Revival footage arrived alongside word that preorders are now open.

Persona 6 is the next numbered entry in the series and was revealed with a world premiere teaser at the show. Atlus describes it as a bold new standalone story that carries over what fans love about the series, though the teaser itself kept details to a minimum. The teaser was rather dark, to the point that I thought it was a Shin Megami Tensei announcement. We do get confirmation on the rumored green theme and it does look like Persona 6 will lean heavily into the supernatural. There is no release date yet, and beyond the confirmed XBOX release, Persona 6 is available to wishlist now.

Persona 4 Revival, meanwhile, now has a release date, launching February 18, 2027, with preorders open. The remake was first revealed last year, and it follows Atlus’s earlier reimagining of Persona 3 as Persona 3 Reload. It is described as a full reimagining of the classic RPG, with enhanced visuals, reworked gameplay, modern aesthetics, and quality-of-life updates.

Set in the rural town of Inaba, Persona 4 Revival follows a year of high school life that turns strange when a serial killer strikes and a rumor spreads about a mysterious TV channel that only appears on rainy nights. Pulling at those threads leads to a world beyond the screen, where the player awakens the power of Persona and fights Shadows in turn-based combat built around exploiting weaknesses and chaining into All-Out Attacks. Alongside the battles, the game keeps the series staples of forming Social Links with the town’s residents and balancing classes, clubs, part-time jobs, and downtime across the school year.

Persona 4 Revival launches February 18, 2027 on PlayStation 5, XBOX Series X|S, and PC through Steam and XBOX on PC, and will be available with XBOX Game Pass. Both Persona 4 Revival and Persona 6 are XBOX Play Anywhere titles.
