Nintendo recently opened its second store in the U.S. with Nintendo San Francisco, joining Nintendo New York, and now the company has announced its fourth official store in Japan: Nintendo Fukuoka. This location will join the existing Nintendo Tokyo, Nintendo Osaka, and Nintendo Kyoto stores. Nintendo Fukuoka will be at Amu Plaza Hakata, which is part of JR Hakata Station. Nintendo Stores are packed with merch from Nintendo’s first-party franchises and often feature exclusive goods.

We’ve visited Nintendo Tokyo in Shibuya Parco and Nintendo Osaka in Daimaru Umeda. Any Nintendo Store is a must-visit for fans, and hopefully the U.S. will get more stores soon. Nintendo should first turn its attention to the EU, where fans currently lack any stores.

These Nintendo Stores join the ever-expanding real-world Nintendo presence, with Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios parks worldwide. Universal’s Epic Universe, where the new Super Nintendo World is located, officially opens on May 22, 2025. Many fans have visited during advanced previews over the past month.
