Netflix has announced that the animated series Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft will start streaming on October 10. The story picks up after the events of the Tomb Raider Survivor trilogy: Crystal Dynamics’ Tomb Raider, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider. The titular character is voiced by Marvel and Mission Impossible star Hayley Atwell. At the helm of the series is Tasha Huo, credited as writer and executive producer. Huo’s previous credits include The Witcher: Blood Origin and Red Sonja.

Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft isn’t the only series for the franchise. Prime Video recently announced it is also working with Crystal Dynamics and Amazon MGM Studios on a Tomb Raider series. The Prime Video series will be written and produced by Phoebe Waller-Bridge. Amazon Games has also confirmed it is working with Crystal Dynamics on a new multiplatform Tomb Raider game.
