After It Takes Two won Game of the Year at The Game Awards 2021, it was only a matter of time before other developers and publishers hopped onto the two-player co-op bandwagon. While Hazelight Studios is clearly the leader within the space, especially with this year’s Split Fiction, it’s always exciting to see more developers joining the fray. Making its debut with a trailer at Summer Game Fest 2025 is LEGO Voyagers from the makers of LEGO Builder’s Journey. It’s a two-player co-op adventure about friendship and play.

Each player will take on the role of a LEGO brick, having to tumble, jump, snap together, and build their way through brick worlds. The game will feature a poetic, non-verbal narrative, using beautiful brick-built environments and an atmospheric soundtrack to tell its story. LEGO Voyagers will support local and online co-op and, like Hazelight Studios’ titles, will offer a Friend’s Pass, meaning only one player needs to own the game for both to enjoy.

The team says the game will ask open questions about building friendships, sharing dreams, and giving space. It’s one title that’s immediately on our list, and we can’t wait to see more.
