Konami is the latest publisher to stake out September 3, announcing a Konami Press Start showcase for that Thursday at 8:00 AM Pacific (11:00 AM Eastern). The stream promises the latest information on upcoming titles, including Silent Hill: Townfall and Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse, along with updates on currently available games, and it will be viewable on YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, and TikTok. The whole thing runs about 30 minutes. That also puts it two hours after State of Play kicks off its two back-to-back broadcasts the same morning, so expect a busy few hours of showcases.
The confirmed lineup covers five titles, starting with Silent Hill: Townfall, which launches September 24, and Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse, the Evil Empire-developed entry arriving October 15. Rounding out the list are eFootball Kick-Off!, Project Zircon, and Rev. Noir, with Konami adding that more titles will feature beyond those five.
Konami has also attached a few notes to the announcement, including that the stream will feature titles intended for mature audiences and that the date and time are subject to change without notice. The more interesting one is a disclaimer that there will be no announcements regarding a remake of Silent Hill, a project Bloober Team has confirmed is in development.
