The two playable characters coming in Marvel Cosmic Invasion: The Siege of Castle Doom are The Invisible Woman and Doctor Doom himself, and the premium DLC now has a November 10 release date. Developer Tribute Games and publisher Dotemu revealed both characters in a new trailer at New York Comic Con, two months after first announcing the DLC without naming either one. The Siege of Castle Doom launches on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, XBOX Series X|S, Switch, Switch 2, and PC via Steam, though pricing hasn’t been announced yet.
The Invisible Woman is archeologist and explorer Susan Storm, who gained massive light-bending powers and force field manipulation from cosmic rays, and the announcement says she brings never-before-seen abilities to the game. Doctor Doom fights with high-powered tech armor of his own design, along with occult skills and his genius intellect. The DLC also adds an all-new game mode centered on Doom and his headquarters, with details on its gameplay and premise coming soon on the game’s official site. As we said when the DLC was first revealed, we’ve been fans of Tribute Games since Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, so a Doctor Doom mode from this team sounds exciting.
The Siege of Castle Doom is the second Marvel Cosmic Invasion DLC this year, following the first one in May, which added Cyclops and The Thing for $3.99 and brought the roster to 17. The beat ’em up launched on December 1, 2025, as a day one Game Pass title, and Dotemu says it has been played by more than 1.5 million players to date. Players team up against Annihilus and his Annihilation Wave, swapping between hero duos mid-fight with the Cosmic Swap system. Marvel Cosmic Invasion was also a Family Game of the Year finalist at the 29th annual D.I.C.E. Awards.
