Award-winning composer Inon Zur has teamed up with Disney Interactive and Harmonix Music Systems to develop original music for the upcoming title Disney Fantasia: Music Evolved. At the Disney D23 Expo, Zur conducted some of the orchestral classics that will appear in the new game for the Xbox One. Zur’s previous work includes scores for major video game franchises such as Prince of Persia, The Lord of the Rings, Dragon Age, EverQuest, and Fallout.
Disney Fantasia: Music Evolved will use the Xbox One’s Kinect to give players the creative power to change their favorite songs in real time, combining the original recording and new remixed versions. The game will feature over 30 tracks from leading artists and classical composers including Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody and Bruno Mars’ Locked Out Of Heaven. The game will be released in 2014.
