Indiana Jones and the Great Circle launched on December 9, 2024, on Xbox Series X|S and PC, while PlayStation gamers will be able to get their hands on it on April 17. Those who own a PlayStation 5 Pro will be able to take advantage of the more powerful console as the game will have native 4K resolution and advanced ray tracing while achieving higher and more consistent frame rates.
Of course, the game will also take advantage of the DualSense controller’s features, including haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. The lightbar is also connected to game actions, providing visual feedback to the player about Indy’s current status. For example, the LED light will turn yellow when entering combat or pulse yellow when NPCs are searching for Indy. It will also pulse red if Indy is low on health and turn green when using a consumable to restore health.
As for other performance enhancements, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle promises stable 60 FPS with high-quality resolution on the standard PlayStation 5. The game has also been optimized to take advantage of the console’s SSD for faster streaming and loading. To save on storage, the game will prioritize the system language for selective installation; other languages can be installed separately. Both consoles support ray tracing, as well as 3D audio and HD rumble.
Finally, the game will also support PlayStation’s Community Game Help, allowing players to access tips from others on specific game sections. The team has set up activities for all objectives in the game, including sub-steps in each mission.
If you can’t wait to get your hands on Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, preordering the Premium Edition will allow you to play up to two days early.
