Microsoft has announced that Halo: Spartan Assault will be released for the Xbox One on December 24 for $14.99. The game will then head to the Xbox 360 in January 2014. Those that have already purchased Halo: Spartan Assault for Windows 8 or Windows Phone 8 before December 15 will be able to get the Xbox One copy at a discounted price of $4.99.

Halo: Spartan Assault will offer 1,000 Achievement Points as an Xbox One title. The game is a top-down, third-person shooter and is developed by 343 Industries and Vanguard Entertainment. It was originally released on Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 on July 18, 2013 in North America.
