As Guild Wars 2‘s first expansion, Heart of Thorns launches today, ArenaNet has shared an infographic detailing the game’s accomplishments. According to the company, over seven-million accounts have been created with over 1.4-billion hours played collectively. Other interesting facts include the 1,863,654 times players have collectively guild-wars-2-infographicexplored the entire world map while Guild Wars 2 has experienced a 135-percent growth in PvP since November 2014. As a result, there have been 712,153,959 deaths recorded in PvP arenas. To put that into perspective, if someone earned $1 for each death, they’d be richer than the U.K.’s reigning reigning monarch, Queen Elizabeth II.

In the game’s World vs. World mode, there have been 67,000 times per day that locations in WvW have switched hands, 80x the number of medieval castles still standing in England. Over three-billion supply has been spent to date – if one supply is one brick, then players have used enough supply to build a structure roughly the size of the Great Wall of China.

One of the biggest things Guild Wars 2 has going for it is the welcoming community. According to ArenaNet, the first weekend that the game was available for free, 40 percent of the level 80 characters playing were in starter zones to help welcome new players. In total, 223,484,104 gifts have been sent between players through the in-game mail system, which would be enough gifts for each person in Brazil and Chile combined.
