After announcing last month that the first trailer for the next Grand Theft Auto would be released in early December, Rockstar Games has now confirmed that “Trailer 1” will debut on December 5 at 6:00am Pacific (9:00am Eastern). While not explicitly stated, it’s highly likely that this is the trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI. The artwork shared on social media and Rockstar Games’ website also teases the game’s setting. Rumors have been circulating that Grand Theft Auto VI might return to Vice City, and the tropical scenery in the recent images seems to support this speculation.

With over 190 million units sold globally, Grand Theft Auto V has claimed the title as the most profitable entertainment product ever. Given its success, it’s not an exaggeration that Grand Theft Auto VI is one of the most highly anticipated video games of all time. Considering Grand Theft Auto V released in 2013, it’s even more understandable how eager fans are to see what Rockstar Games can do with a next-generation experience.
