Over the last two years, Sony has gotten a little more serious when it comes to limited edition DualSense controllers. It’s one area where Xbox excels, with its wide assortment of customized controllers and special edition models. Recently, PlayStation rolled out a few Limited Edition DualSense Controllers based on popular first-person franchises, like Astro Bot and The Last of Us. In October, the Icon Blue Special Edition launched, and in January 2026 this Genshin Impact Limited Edition DualSense will launch.
Preorders for the controller begin on December 11 at 7:00 AM Pacific (10:00 AM Eastern) at direct.playstation.com and select retailers, with a recommended retail price of $84.99 / €84.99 / £74.99 / ¥12,480. In the U.K., France, Germany, Austria, Spain, Portugal, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg, you’ll want to look to the website at 10:00 AM local time.
The controller boasts an ethereal white, gold, and green palette featuring arcane glyphs, including emblems of the Traveler Twins Aether and Lumine, and their trusted companion guide, Paimon. The controller comes as a result of a collaboration between Sony Interactive Entertainment and HoYoverse, and launches on January 21, 2026, in select markets across Asia, including Japan. North, Central, and South America, along with Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Australia, and New Zealand, will have to wait until February 25, 2026, for the launch. The exact launch date and availability for the controller may vary by country or region.
