The Xbox Live Games with Gold September 2016 lineup has been announced and like previous months, all four games will be available on Xbox One thanks to backward compatibility. Available throughout the month on Xbox One will be Earthlock: Festival of Magic, while Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China can be downloaded from September 16 to October 15 on Xbox One. The two games available on the Xbox 360 and Xbox One will be Forza Horizon and Mirror’s Edge. Forza Horizon will be available from September 1 to September 15, while Mirror’s Edge headlines the last two weeks of the month.
Earthlock: Festival of Magic is a brand new ID@Xbox title, where the world of Umbra has stopped spinning. Players will take on the role of Amon, taking him and his team through the harsh, but beautiful Umbra landscape while fighting off monsters of all kinds in a modern turn-based, role-playing battle system.
Check out a new perspective of the Assassin’s Creed series in Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China, bringing new assassins to the fore with a 2.5D stealth platformer. Offering the classic feel of the series with a unique twist, Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China lets players help Shao Jun avenge the loss of her brotherhood by bringing down enemies with power and grace.
