Gamers for Good has launched the KKG Artbook project, with its proceeds going towards helping an artist in the gaming industry fight against cancer.

Kevin Kanai Griffith currently works at Blizzard Entertainment as an Artist on the Diablo III team, and like many of us avid gamers, Griffith loves video games. Unfortunately, earlier last year in February 2012, Griffith was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called Alveolar Soft Part Sarcoma (ASPS). Currently, ASPS has no cure or a clear treatment path, and at the young age of 29, Griffith is fighting against stage-four cancer.

For its first service project, Gamers for Good is looking to create a book of original fan art from Kevin’s favorite games. Submissions for the KKG Artbook are being taken until November 10, 2013, and proceeds from the book will go towards Griffith’s battle against cancer. There are already currently over 100 artists across the gaming industry supporting the project, so if you’d like to be part of a good cause, hit the source link below.
