Xbox has announced the second wave of titles coming to Game Pass in September 2024, joining five titles revealed earlier this month. Wargroove 2 will be available on September 19 on Cloud, Console, and PC, as part of Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. It’s the sequel to the popular Wargroove and a tactical strategy RPG originally released in 2023.
The other two titles are both day one releases on PC Game Pass and are included on our Top Games to Play in September 2024 list. The first title is Frostpunk 2, launching on September 20, and is the highly anticipated sequel to Frostpunk. After a delay, players will finally dive into the role of a Steward, tasked with leading their city in a post-apocalyptic setting. The second title, Ara: History Untold, launches on September 24. Developed by Oxide Games and Xbox Game Studios, it represents an evolution in the historical grand strategy genre. Players must focus on leading their people to build a nation throughout history.
In addition to these three titles, Xbox has announced Overwatch 2 perks for Game Pass members. Starting today, subscribers will receive six hero skins and an instant one-time grant of 30 Mythic Prisms for use on Mythic unlocks. Players must log in and ensure their accounts are linked by October 21 to claim the in-game loot. Other benefits to members include a stackable XP boost and access to Overwatch 2 Shop cosmetics from prior seasons.
