PS4 Getting Free Online Multiplayer This Weekend

PlayStation 4 owners will be able to enjoy free online multiplayer this weekend, just in time for the launch of Battlefield Hardline, which releases March 17. Starting on Friday, March 20 at 12:01 AM PT, online multiplayer will be free on PS4 until Sunday, March 22 at 11:59 PM PT. Simply log onto the PlayStation Network during the promotional period and launch your favorite multiplayer game and get to playing online with your friends for free.

No PlayStation Plus membership commitment is required to enjoy the free online multiplayer this weekend. PlayStation Plus is normally required to enjoy online multiplayer on the PS4 and membership includes access to the Instant Game Collection, exclusive discounts on the PlayStation Store and up to 3GB of online game save storage.
