Forge, a PVP-based game built around what’s best described as an MMO engine is going free-to-play. For those that haven’t experienced Forge and are fans of what Dark Age of Camelot had to offer in its prime, you should definitely check out Forge, especially once it’s free-to-play. Our staff has revisited Forge several times over the last few months, and overall it’s a very solid game that offers hours of entertainment if you’re a fan of PVP in MMOs. Each player is able to select from a variety of classes armed with different skills in team-based PVP matches. Some matches aren’t won just by gathering the most kills on your team; different game modes offer a nice change of pace and requires strategy and teamwork in order to succeed. It’s fairly easy to grasp, but difficult to master. Regardless, it’s a ton of fun even when you’re on the losing side.
