A new Driveclub video has been shared by Sony, showcasing the upcoming PlayStation 4 racing game’s dynamic weather system. After numerous delays, Driveclub is shaping up to be worth the wait as the latest video not only reveals gorgeous, jaw-dropping graphics but gameplay that will surely rival some of the best driving simulators in existence. According to Evolution Studios, Driveclub‘s developer, the weather system will be included as a free upgrade shortly after release on October 7, 2014.
In the newest Driveclub video, we get an early look at how weather conditions such as wind, rain and snow can affect the racing and how players will be able to customize it in their challenges. For example, when your tires get wet, it’ll be harder to brake and easier to drift. Visibility will also become a factor with Driveclub‘s dynamic weather system with windshield wipers “going like crazy” and headlights reflecting on the snowflakes.
