Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze will not be available later this year, as was originally promised by Nintendo. The game, which has been delayed twice now, will be released sometime in 2014. In August, Nintendo had announced that Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze would be released for the Wii U on December 6, 2013, but during today’s Nintendo Direct, the company stated that it’ll now be released in February 2014.
Tropical Freeze is the first HD instalment of the Donkey Kong Country franchise and the game will feature side views and different camera angles to enable new gameplay experiences. It will also have a two-player mode where players can take on the role of Diddy Kong or Dixie Kong.
