Check this one off your Nintendo Direct Bingo Card. Deltarune Chapter 5 arrives on June 24, 2026 as a free update for everyone who owns the game. Revealed during the latest Nintendo Direct, the new chapter of Toby Fox’s Deltarune launches simultaneously worldwide across PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Switch, Switch 2, PC, and Mac.

Billed as a funny and heartfelt adventure in Undertale’s parallel story, Chapter 5 has you fight or spare your way through battles while exploring a mysterious world with a cast of new and familiar faces. As before, it lands free for current owners, and anyone who buys Deltarune for $24.99 after launch gets all five released chapters at that same price, in keeping with Fox’s plan to only charge for content that already exists.

The trailer also closed by teasing Chapter 6, the next step in what is planned as a seven-chapter story. With Chapter 5 out this month, Deltarune moves past its midpoint, and Fox has said the remaining chapters will arrive as free updates the same way.
