Originally announced in October 2021, digital card game DC Dual Force has resurfaced and is “coming soon” to PC. It will likely be compared to Marvel Snap the second it launches, but based on what we’ve seen so far, DC Dual Force will be more similar to Hearthstone than Marvel Snap. The game is being developed by Cryptozoic and will be published by YUKE’s. It initially had a release window of Q3 2022, but clearly that didn’t go as planned.
Unlike Marvel Snap, DC Dual Force will feature a single-player experience that draws on over 80 years of comic book history. It will be a free-to-play CCG with a promise of new content, as a comic from the existing DC library will be released every week for fans to play through.
