Activision Blizzard has announced that the final day to download Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is May 18, 2025. After that, the game will no longer be available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, and social features across both platforms will be retired. The game, however, will still be accessible to those who install it before May 19 and will continue to have cross-progression of shared inventories using existing content and servers with matchmaking for online play. The mobile version won’t receive any new seasonal content or gameplay updates, though. This also means players won’t be able to purchase Call of Duty Points or Black Cell using real currency in Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile.

The decision is being attributed to various factors, but Activision Blizzard said the game has not met its expectations with mobile-first players like it has with PC and console audiences. Knowing the company, though, this probably means the game cost more to maintain than it generated. For those who have been playing Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile, any unspent COD Points can be redeemed in-game toward available content in the store.

For now, servers for online play will remain available.
