The Battleborn closed technical test will start on October 29, 2K and Gearbox have announced. The closed technical tests will happen on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One with the goal to balance characters, stress servers, squash bugs and test the online infrastructure. Not everyone that applies will be guaranteed an invitation come October 29. According to the two companies, participants will be chosen on a number of criteria based on the needs for testing, including (but not limited to) platform preference, location, availability and acceptance of the NDA. The NDA will prohibit testers from capturing gameplay footage, livestreaming, posting images or publicly discussing the technical test on the Internet.
