Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game is going to make fans wait a little longer, slipping from its original July 2 date to a new launch of July 23. Gameplay Group framed the extra time as a chance to sharpen the game and fold in some brand new content that wasn’t originally planned.

There’s also a consolation prize for the impatient: a crossplay beta running July 2 to 5, which happens to fall right on the weekend the game was originally meant to launch. That early access is open to anyone who preorders on PlayStation 5, XBOX Series X|S, and PC via Steam, ahead of the full release on July 23 across PlayStation 5, XBOX Series X|S, Switch, Switch 2, and PC.
