PlayStation has announced that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is launching on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store on January 30, 2025. The PC port is being developed and optimized by Nixxes Software, in collaboration with Insomniac Games, PlayStation, and Marvel Games. Originally launched on PlayStation 5 in October 2023, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 feels like an extremely safe sequel that takes very few risks, coming across as a polished version of its predecessors.

The PC version will launch with two editions, Standard and Digital Deluxe. The Standard edition includes the complete game and all the latest updates from the PlayStation 5 launch, including 14 new suits, New Game+, Ultimate Levels, new Symbiote Suit styles, time of day options, post-game achievements, action figure mode in photo mode, and screen reader and audio descriptions. The Digital Deluxe Edition adds five exclusive suits for Peter Parker, five exclusive suits for Miles Morales, early unlocks for the Arachknight Suit (Peter), the Shadow-Spider Suit (Miles), the Web Grabber gadget, an additional five skill points, and more photo mode items.

The sequel to Marvel’s Spider-Man and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 brings together both Spider-Men’s stories with all-new abilities and traversal options. With today’s PC announcement, however, Insomniac also confirmed that no additional story content is planned for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2; so those expecting DLC content may find this news disappointing.

“Our amazing partners at Nixxes have once again done an incredible job bringing the world of Marvel’s Spider-Man to PC players,” says Mike Fitzgerald, Core Technology Director at Insomniac. “Our team put a lot of love into this game, and we’re excited that it will soon be enjoyed by a whole new audience with keyboard and mouse controls, ultra widescreen support, and numerous graphical options that make it feel at home on their platform.”
