Xbox has announced the next wave of games heading to its Game Pass subscription service for the second half of April 2024. Starting today, Harold Halibut is available on Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S as a day one release. This handmade narrative game tells the story of life on a city-sized spaceship that has been submerged in an alien ocean. Players join Harold in exploring this retro-future world as he tries to find the true meaning of home. Available tomorrow, April 17, is Orcs Must Die! 3 on Cloud, Console, and PC. Part tower defense and part shooter, Orcs Must Die! 3 is especially enjoyable in two-player co-op.
On April 18, EA Sports NHL 24 heads to Console via EA Play. The EA Play Mega Players Pack, available until May 9, contains 30 items—all Gold Players—with at least five 80+ OVR players for Ultimate Team Mode in the game. One of our top games to play in April 2024, Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes heads to Cloud, Console, and PC on April 23 as a day one release with Game Pass. This spiritual successor to Suikoden features a cast of over a hundred heroes in a hand-crafted 2.5D world.
The indies keep coming this month, as the soulslike adventure Another Crab’s Treasure arrives on Cloud, Console, and PC on April 25. Play as Kril the hermit crab and embark on an epic treasure hunt to buy back your repossessed shell while discovering the dark secrets behind the polluted ocean. A day later, Manor Lords will enter Game Preview as a day one release on PC. This medieval strategy game features city building, large-scale tactical battles, and complex economic and social simulations. The final title for April 2024, Have a Nice Death, will be available on Cloud, Console, and PC on April 30. This 2D action roguelike has players taking on the role of an overworked Death, whose employees have run rampant.
Game Pass Core members will also be getting access to three more games starting April 23: Deep Rock Galactic, Superhot: Mind Control Delete, and Wreckfest.
