Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate is on sale on the Nintendo eShop until September 22, 2013. You can download the Wii U or 3DS version of the game at 50 percent off: $29.99 for the Wii U, $19.99 for the 3DS. It’s a great deal if you previously bought one version of the game and now want to get another copy to either play on your big screen or on the go.

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate was originally released in North America on March 19, 2013 for both the 3DS and the Wii U. It is an expansion on the Wii title Monster Hunter 3 Tri and features HD graphics.

Those that are new to the Monster Hunter franchise should really check out the game if slaying giant monsters and getting awesome loot appeals to you. While the game is grindy in a sense, there’s no better satisfaction than succesfully killing that monster and getting that item you need to upgrade your gear. The game also features multiplayer, which is a fantastic addition if you’ve got friends to go monster hunting with.
