We love unboxing videos for whatever strange reason, especially when it’s for a product that we won’t be able to get our hands on for a few more months. Microsoft has posted an Xbox One unboxing video, revealing everything that will come with the Day One edition system.

The Day One edition system will come with a specially branded Day One 2013 controller that features a chrome d-pad, and a Day One digital achievement, redeemed via a code. The console, Kinect sensor, HDMI cable, and the power supply will all feature a “liquid black” finish.

Though it’s all old news by now, the Xbox One will come with a 500GB hard drive, slot-load Blu-ray drive, IR blaster port, HDMI input and output connectors, a S/PDIF interface, new Kinect sensor port, three USB 3.0 Super Speed ports, Wired and Wireless network support, and a Kensington Security Slot.

Other items bundled in the Day One edition include a newly-improved headset that weighs in at only 44 grams. You will be able to control the volume or mute the headset without taking your hands off the controller.

Major Nelson did tease in the video that there will be an on/off switch for the Xbox One with a reveal expected at Gamescom.
