Microsoft has released more details on its new Smart Match feature that will be heading to its next-generation Xbox One console. According to the company, Smart Match is geared towards finding the “perfect players for the perfect game,” by using advanced algorithms to pair players based on skill, language, and now reputation. According to Microsoft’s latest post on the feature, the goal of Smart Match is to give you a gaming experience where you won’t be in way over your head, but will always have a good challenge.
So what else does Smart Match do for you? Well, according to Microsoft, it’ll also help free up time allowing you to do whatever you want on your Xbox One while it locates a suitable match for you. You can even play digital games while Smart Match looks for an opponent in another game. Lastly, Smart Match will notify you as soon as it finds a match, allowing you to quickly join the game no matter what you were doing while waiting.
