The Xbox One will be launching in Japan September 4, Microsoft has announced. The company didn’t reveal pricing information or which launch titles will be available for the console’s launch in Japan. There are however over 40 confirmed titles for the Xbox One in Japan including games that are currently under development such as Kingdom Hearts III and Final Fantasy XV.
Microsoft previously confirmed Japan would be one of 26 new markets launching this September. The company has not released official dates on the other 25 markets remaining on the list.
The Xbox One originally launched in November 2013 for 13 regions and has shipped five-million units to date. The Sony PlayStation 4 was released in Japan on February 22, 2014.
