Xbox Live Gold subscribers affected by the March 11 service outage will soon be receiving one week free according to a report on IGN. Though March 11 was also the launch date of Titanfall on the Xbox One, Microsoft reiterated that the Xbox Live “core service” issues were not related to the game’s launch. It appears that the company is notifying Xbox Live Gold members through the Xbox Live Messaging system to inform them of the free seven days, but it’s unclear if it will be given to every Xbox Live Gold subscriber or only those that were not able to log in during that day.
