Microsoft has announced that the Xbox Games Showcase 2024 will be livestreamed on June 9, 2024, at 10:00 AM Pacific (1:00 PM Eastern), and it will be immediately followed by a special Direct event, similar to last year’s Starfield Direct. This year, however, the details remain a mystery, though Xbox promises a deep dive into the next installment of a beloved franchise. While details about the Direct are redacted, it seems likely that it will focus on the Call of Duty series, especially now that Activision Blizzard is officially part of the Xbox family.

“This will also be our first Showcase featuring games from our portfolio of studios across Activision, Blizzard, Bethesda and Xbox Game Studios, in addition to titles from our third-party partners,” Xbox stated in a blog post. The livestream will be accessible in over 30 languages via multiple platforms, including YouTube, Twitch, and Facebook. The double-feature broadcast is just the beginning of a week’s worth of coverage and announcements.

Announcements and reveals from the Xbox Games Showcase 2023 included Fable, Star Wars Outlaws, Persona 3 Reload, Persona 5 Tactica, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, Jusant, Still Wakes the Deep, Dungeons of Hinterberg, Metaphor: ReFantazio, and several others.
