Another month is upon us, and if none of the titles in our Top Games to Play in July 2024 list interest you, perhaps something joining the Xbox Game Pass lineup will catch your interest. Microsoft has announced the list of titles heading to its subscription service in the first half of July, starting with Journey to the Savage Planet, available on Cloud, Console, and PC on July 3. The game returns to the Game Pass library, putting players in the shoes of an employee of Kindred Aerospace as they explore, fight, jump, scavenge, craft, and explode their way through an uncharted world.

Also available on July 3 is Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 on Cloud, Console, and PC. The platform fighter stars many favorite Nickelodeon characters, including the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, SpongeBob SquarePants, Garfield, and more. On July 9, two games will be available: Cricket 24 and The Case of the Golden Idol, both on Cloud, Console, and PC. Cricket 24 is for all the cricket lovers out there, featuring teams from around the world along with over 50 detailed official stadiums. The Case of the Golden Idol is a point-and-click detective adventure with some interesting twists. It currently holds an Overwhelmingly Positive rating based on user reviews on Steam.

July 11 delivers two exciting additions, starting with Neon White on Cloud, Console, and PC, and Tchia on Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S. Neon White is a first-person action game with puzzle-platforming mechanics, while Tchia is a more laid-back, physics-driven sandbox game. The final two titles in July 2024’s wave 1 lineup both launch on July 16 as day one titles: Magical Delicacy and Flock. Both will be available on Cloud, Console, and PC. Magical Delicacy is a pixel art platformer and Flock is a multiplayer co-op game about the joy of flight.

Xbox also announced the following games are leaving the Game Pass library on July 15:

  • Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus & Butterfly (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Figment 2: Creed Valley (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion (PC)
  • TOEM (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • The Wandering Village (Cloud, Console, and PC)
