Microsoft has announced that the Xbox.com PC Marketplace will shut down on August 22, 2013 as part of the recent retirement of Microsoft Points. As for those that have previously purchased games and downloaded content, you will still be able to access those games by downloading them through the Games for Windows Live client. But the PC Marketplace on Xbox.com will no longer be selling Games for Windows Live titles starting on August 22.

Those that still have Microsoft Points are encouraged to spend them prior to the next Xbox 360 update, but Microsoft will convert the amount of points to a value equal or greater than the Marketplace value.
